The Senior Gardener position requires someone with relevant landscaping and/or labouring experience to complete regular maintenance and improvement works of Council’s open spaces including parks, gardens, trees and reserves, ensuring they are well maintained and appropriately managed.
Council will provide access to relevant training and a tertiary qualification in horticulture as part of this position.

- Remuneration at Grade 3 of Council’s salary system ($912.07 - $987.62 / week) depending on qualifications and experience
- Adverse Working Conditions Allowance currently $15.00/week
- 9.5% superannuation
- 38 hours per week
- 9 day fortnight
- 4 weeks’ annual leave
- Sick, Carers and other leave as per the Local Government (State) Award
