Public Notices

Council is asking you, local business owners and managers what business skills and knowledge you are keen to acquire and develop via a new project called the Business Health Check.  This will enable Council to identify the specific training and skilling needs and interests of the local business community and in turn Council will work with training providers to facilitate the delivery of relevant training and/or courses locally.  In business, and as in life, we don’t know what we don’t know, and with this in mind the Business Health Check will help business owners and managers to identify not only where their strengths lie but where they may have unknown weaknesses or gaps in their business operations and management.

To deliver the Business Health Check, Council has engaged local economic development consultant, Alanna McHugh.  Alanna will be meeting one-on-one with interested local businesses the week of the 27th of March to undertake a confidential Business Health Check.  There is no cost to participate and it will take approximately half an hour of your time.  If you would like to get involved or know of other local businesses that would please contact Alanna via email This email address is being protected from spambots.
