The Community Strategic Plan is the highest level plan that a Council prepares. The purpose of the Plan is to identify the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future and to plan strategies for achieving these goals. Significant community input has been incorporated into the draft Bogan Shire Community Strategic Plan.
The Community Strategic Plan is part of a suite of planning documents for Bogan Shire Council. Specific actions under each draft strategy are being developed and will be set out in the 2017/18 Operating Plan and Budget for consideration by the Community and adoption by Council in May and June 2017.
You are invited to make your views known on the Draft Plan. You can do this preferably by making a written submission or by talking to the General Manager and Councillors.
