BICENTENNIAL WALL RECONSTRUCTION.
Did you or your family make a tile to add to Nyngan's Bicentennial Wall in 1988? You may be aware this structure was damaged last year.
Bogan Shire Council has contracted the original artists to repair the broken section, which will involve the remaking of around 250 tiles as close to the original design as possible. A catalogue of the owners of the broken tiles has been compiled and Bogan Shire is endeavouring to spread the word that there will be a tile making workshop in Nyngan on the 12-13th of August. If the original owners cannot attend, the tiles will be reconstructed as carefully as possible by the artists.
