Council Fees & Charges

Council’s Statement of Fees and Charges outlines the fees applicable to a wide range of user-pay services provided by Council. These include fees for services, facility and equipment hire, parks and recreational facilities, regulatory services, and building-related certificates and approvals.

The Statement ensures transparency and consistency in how fees are applied and helps Council recover the cost of delivering services while continuing to provide value to the community.

Each year, the proposed Fees and Charges are placed on public exhibition, giving residents, businesses, and stakeholders the opportunity to review the document and provide feedback before it is finalised. Community submissions are considered by Council prior to the adoption of the Statement as part of Council’s annual Operational Plan and budget process.

Once adopted, the Statement of Fees and Charges applies for the relevant financial year and is reviewed annually to ensure fees remain fair, reasonable, and reflective of service delivery costs.
