Bogan Shire Council works to ensure the community remains safe, healthy and well maintained through its compliance activities. Council officers monitor and enforce a range of legislation and local regulations relating to areas such as environmental health, food safety, animal management, parking, building and development, and waste management. Council aims to achieve compliance through education and cooperation wherever possible, helping residents and businesses understand their responsibilities. Where necessary, Council may investigate complaints and take enforcement action to address breaches and protect the wellbeing of the community. Residents can assist by reporting issues such as illegal dumping, nuisance animals, unsafe structures or other compliance concerns.
