Gap Year Program

Are you finishing school and thinking about your next step?
Bogan Shire Council's Gap Year Program 2027 offers local school leavers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on work experience, explore different career pathways, and develop practical skills in a supportive workplace environment.
Whether you already have a career in mind or are still deciding what interests you, this program is a great way to build confidence, gain workplace experience, and discover future opportunities, all while getting paid!
🎓 Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a resident of the Bogan Shire
- Have completed, at minimum, Year 10
- Be at least 17 years of age
If you live in the Bogan Shire but attended school elsewhere, you are still eligible to apply.
