drumMUSTER
drumMUSTER is a national product stewardship program that collects and recycles eligible, clean agricultural and veterinary (AgVet) chemical containers. Established in 1998, the program promotes environmental sustainability by providing a safe, cost-effective recycling solution for chemical users and communities across Australia.
Supported by AgVet manufacturers, industry groups, farming organisations, and all levels of government, drumMUSTER operates more than 700 collection sites nationwide. Over 46 million containers have been recycled into products such as wheelie bins, fence posts, road signs, and new chemical drums.
Eligible containers displaying the drumMUSTER logo—on the label, embossed in the container, or as a sticker—can be safely disposed of at selected waste facilities. Containers without the logo are not accepted. All drums must be triple-rinsed with lids removed. On-farm collection can be arranged by contacting Agsafe.
