About the Opportunity
Are you a self-motivated person who takes pride in keeping a work environment clean, well-maintained, and welcoming? Are you looking or flexible hours? Then this is your opportunity to apply for Council’s part-time cleaner role.
As a cleaner at Bogan Shire Council, you will be responsible for taking care of our facilities, carrying out various cleaning and maintenance duties. Your main goal will be to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
Cleaning shifts will be 3 hours per day Monday – Friday outside of Council buildings standard operating hours. The successful applicant can choose early morning or evening shifts to suit your lifestyle.
There are also opportunities for additional cleaning shifts at the Bogan Shire Medical Centre and Bogan Shire Early Learning Centre from time to time, covering leave for other cleaning staff.
Conditions
- The Cleaner position is permanent part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Additional hours may be offered for relief coverage at other Council buildings from time to time.
Salary Benefits
- Remuneration at Grade 3 of Council’s salary system ($30.92 - $33.48 per hour).
- Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.48 per hour
- 4 weeks Annual Leave (pro rata)
- Access to Sick and Carer’s Leave.
- 11% superannuation
- Council provided uniforms
