Come and join our Early Learning Centre team!

As a Trainee you will provide inclusive, educational experiences to children from birth to school age in a caring and culturally sensitive environment whilst ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of children at all times and provide support to families within our community.

You will be required to be an active member of a team which provides high quality childhood education and care to children, assist with the preparation, maintenance and hygienic cleaning of all equipment, setup and conduct activities for the children at the Early Learning Centre and at Bogan Bush Mobile sessions.

This position requires enrolment and study in a Certificate III and leading into a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a current class C, P1 or P2 drivers licence and have completed school studies to NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA) level or equivalent (year 10 School Certificate) to be eligible for tertiary enrolment.

Salary Benefits

  • Remuneration at T4 – T10 of Council’s salary system ($853.65 - $1,194.58 / week) depending on qualifications and experience
  • Full time 4 year contract 35 hours per week, on rotating roster between the hours of 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday - Friday
  • 4 weeks Annual Leave
  • Access to Sick and Carer’s Leave
  • 11.5% superannuation
