In the Truck Driver role, you will be required to hold a HC licence, drive, load and unload trucks over 30,000kg GVM, including operating and maintaining other heavy plant and equipment including Water Cart, Backhoe, Skid Steer & Front End/Low Loader. You will work on maintenance and construction operations on all Bogan Shire LGA roads delivering quality material haulage operations.
You will also assist the Coordinator Shire Road Works to coordinate on-ground works activities on a daily basis including supervision of team members, plant, and materials to deliver quality works that are completed within budget, to contract and safety requirements and meet project deadlines.
Salary Benefits
- Remuneration at Grade 4 of Council’s salary system ($1,213.05 - $1,404.29 per week) depending on qualifications and experience
- Adverse Working Conditions Allowance currently $18.92/week
- 11.5% superannuation
- 38 hours per week, 9-day fortnight
- 4 weeks’ annual leave
- Sick, Carers and other leave as per the Local Government (State) Award
- Salary sacrificed childcare at the Bogan Shire Early Learning Centre
